Rigby Joins Earthbound Farm as HR Veep
SAN JUAN BAUTISTA, Calif. -- Brant Rigby has joined Earthbound Farm, the nation's leading producer of organic produce and specialty salads, as v.p. of human resources.
Rigby received his undergraduate degree in human resources management from Brigham Young University and his MBA from Southern Oregon University. In his 18 years experience in human resources and executive management, Rigby has managed upwards of 1,700 employees at companies including Sabroso and Target. Prior to joining Earthbound Farm, Rigby served as a member of the executive team and the spokesperson for the Sabroso Co., a fruit products company.
"With just one week on the job under my belt, I am realizing that the good things I had learned about Earthbound Farm during the interview process constitute the proverbial 'tip of the iceberg'," said Rigby. "There is a stronger sense of team and commitment to the company mission here than any place I have worked before. I am already proud to be part of this organization and am excited to help develop the human resource programs for a group that is changing the way our country thinks about healthy food."
"As Earthbound Farm has grown from 2½ to 26,000 acres, we've also grown to being a company with over 1,000 employees," said Charles Sweat, Earthbound Farm's c.o.o. "We understand that it is important that we give as much attention and care to our internal practices and employee satisfaction as we do to our customers. Brant has a successful track record of managing human resource divisions at both small and large companies and we believe his dedication and variety of experience will be an asset to our company as well as our employees."
