Sheetz Pours Free Joe with Gas
ALTOONA, Pa. -- Sheetz, Inc. based here is so pumped about its new premium coffee that it's giving it away for free with any purchase of Sheetz gasoline at 307 locations in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.
During the promotion, customers can earn a free cup of any size of the new Sheetz self-serve coffees, made from 100 percent Arabica beans, with any gas purchase made between now and Dec. 24, the chain said. The company said its new premium coffees will meet the high quality expectations of serious coffee drinkers at a price that customers cannot afford to miss.
Sheetz, Inc. began selling fresh over 30 years ago, and in 2004 introduced Sheetz Bros. Coffeez, a full line of made-to-order espresso beverages. Sheetz Bros. Coffeez is now available at 141 Sheetz locations, and plans are in place to add the line to all stores.
With more than $3.8 billion in revenue for 2006 and more than 11,000 employees, Sheetz operates 329 locations throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio and North Carolina.
