Shop 'n Save/Pittsburgh Bows $4 Generic Drugs, 10-Minute Fill Guarantee
PITTSBURGH - Fifteen Shop 'n Save supermarket locations here have begun offering more than 450 generic medications for $4 each, and are also touting a guarantee to fill prescriptions in 10 minutes or less.
Nine of the Supervalu-supplied, independently-owned stores have pharmacies operated by independent drugstore chain Med-Fast Pharmacy, also based in Pittsburgh.
The $4 discount generic drugs, coupled with the 10-minute prescription fill-time guarantee, "will save our customers time and money," said Bryan Bisceglia, Med-Fast's director of marketing and business development.
