Skippy, Sony Team up for ‘Spider-Man’ Release
The Skippy peanut butter brand has teamed up with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment for the release of “The Amazing Spider-man” film’s Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD with UltraViolet.
Two million jars of Skippy peanut butter with a limited edition Amazing Spider-Man label are available on shelves in more than 25,000 participating retail locations nationwide. Each limited edition jar includes a $4 savings coupon for the Combo Pack with purchase.
“Skippy understands the importance of family time and that’s why we’re excited to help bring The Amazing Spider-Man into homes across America,” said Mike Dwyer, marketing director for Skippy, a brand of Englewood Cliffs, N.J.-based Unilever. “From breakfast to dinner and all the snacks in between, Skippy is proud to be a part of shared family moments.”
