In the Spotlight: Rushing Rivers Pears
Grown, packed in Wenatchee River Valley and Entiat River Valley
In response to recent research by SHS indicating that 65 percent of consumers what to know more about the origins of their food, Wenatchee, Wash.-based Stemilt Growers is introducing Rushing Rivers, a new label for its pears that are grown and packed in the Wenatchee River Valley and Entiat River Valley in Washington State. Stemilt will begin packing pears in a new Rushing Rivers carton featuring the Rushing Rivers logo and tagline, “the best pear locales in the world,” along with a short story that tells consumers where the pears inside came from and how they were grown.
