Sprouts Farmers Market Honored by iTradeNetwork

Sprouts Farmers Market Inc. was named Innovator of the Year for Supply Chain Technology by iTradeNetwork Inc., at the company's annual customer conference in Las Vegas.

Sprouts was recognized for its contributions to the new iTrade store order management solution, scheduled for general release later this year. The grocer is currently live on the new solution, and was a key contributor in helping shape a fully automated system with features that include order creation and confirmations, store-ranked inventory allocation, item substitution management, order status updates and a reporting and analytics engine.

"For a company that's growing as quickly as Sprouts Farmers Market is, it takes tremendous vision to step back and lay the technology groundwork to be fully prepared for their supply chain of the future," said Joe Bergera, president of iTradeNetwork. "We're very pleased to award Sprouts the Innovator of the Year Award for Supply Chain Technology."

Also recognized was David R. Parsley, former SVP, Supply Chain for Brinker International, who received the Excellence in Performance Award for Visibility, Collaboration and Optimization for helping create business processes that changed the nature of the technology vendor-customer partnership to make it more collaborative and effective.

Sprouts Farmers Market operates more than 190 stores in 11 states, and employes more than 17,000 associates.
