Sprouts Hires Chief HR Officer

Sprouts Farmers Market Inc. has hired Nancy LaMons as its chief human resources officer. In her new role, LaMons will lead the Phoenix-based natural grocer's human resources and organizational development efforts.

LaMons’ most recent position was that of chief people officer at the Fiesta Restaurant Group, based in Addison, Texas. She previously held senior positions at JC Penney and PepsiCo Inc.

"Nancy's experience leading a diverse team member base will be extremely valuable to Sprouts as we continue to grow," said President and CEO Doug Sanders, adding that LeMons would "help us achieve our vision to employ the best people and deliver the best service in retail."

Sprouts sells fresh, natural and organic foods at more than 170 stores in nine states, employing 15,000-plus associates.
