SQFI Taps Assessment Database Provider
The Safe Quality Food Institute (SQFI), a division of the Arlington, Va.-based Food Marketing Institute (FMI), has selected EtQ Inc. as its new assessment database provider, with the aim of streamlining and enhancing the customer service experience for users.
“Since its inception, SQFI has been committed to making it easier for our clients to manage the quality of their respective compliance systems,” explained Robert Garfield, EVP for SQFI, a stringent food safety management system. “[The] selection of EtQ is another example of how we will strive to meet companies’ needs across the areas of auditor traceability, notifications and certification.”
Among the solution’s features are improved auditing forms for internal functions, and systems to track and report on nonconformance cases with greater ease. SQF users will be able to compare multiple reports among sites within their companies to better measure performance. Additionally, these features and financing will be hosted under one user-friendly interface.
To introduce the solution to users, New York-based EtQ will host a breakout session on Nov. 10 at the 2011 SQF International Conference. During “The Power of Data: An Inside Look at the New SQF Data Management System,” Morgan Palmer, chief technology officer of EtQ, and John Schulz, senior business director of SQFI, will provide information on the new auditing system and functionality.
