Stater Bros. Adds ‘Wholesome Goodness’ Products

Stater Bros. Markets is introducing Wholesome Goodness, a line of affordable, all-natural products, at all 167 of the grocer’s locations.

Wholesome Goodness foods are made with a nutrition-minded approach, with an emphasis on natural ingredients such as whole grains, fiber and essential Omega 3 and 6 fatty acids, while minimizing or eliminating sugar, sodium and fat. The line includes hot and cold cereals, trail mixes, snack chips, pasta and barbecue sauces, dressings, 100 percent antioxidant juices and “no salt added” broths, among other products.

According to Jack H. Brown, chairman and CEO of Stater Bros., the effort was designed to meet customers’ demand to eat healthier, adding that Stater Bros. is the only supermarket chain in Southern California to offer Wholesome Goodness.

San Bernardino, Calif.-based Stater Bros. is the largest privately owned supermarket chain in Southern California.
