Stop & Shop to Hold First Diversity Luncheon
QUINCY, Mass. -- In celebration of Black History Month, Ahold USA and the Stop & Shop Supermarket Co./Giant Food, LLC will be hosting their inaugural Supplier Diversity Luncheon at the Quincy Marriott here on Feb. 22. More than 150 minority and women-owned Enterprises will be represented.
The keynote speaker for the event will be Dale LeFebvre, a managing partner of Pharos Capital Group, one of the nation's largest African-American-owned private equity firms, and chairman of the board for Peabody, Mass.-based Converge, the world's largest component exchange company, with over $400 million dollars in annual revenue. LeFebvre's topic will be "Building Scale: Doing Business with Corporate America."
Stop & Shop/Giant employs more than 86,000 associates and operates 565 stores throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, the District of Columbia, and Virginia.
