Sunflower to open First Santa Fe, N.M., Store
Sunflower Farmers Market will open its first store in Santa Fe, N.M., on Aug. 12 -- its fourth New Mexico store -- and plans further expansion in the state next year.
“We are eager to bring our ‘Serious Food at Silly Prices’ grocery store concept to Santa Fe,” said Mike Gilliland, Sunflower’s founder and c.e.o. “Santa Fe residents are aware of the benefits of eating quality food, yet are savvy enough to look for good values, especially during these challenging economic times.”
To celebrate the grand opening, Sunflower is launching a “Natural Living Reduction Sale” in New Mexico only, which will feature savings on vitamins, minerals, and body care and include more than 5,000 natural living items.
Boulder, Colo.-based Sunflower operates 26 stores in Colorado, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah and Texas.
