Super Saver to Help Nebraska Firefighters
The Super Saver store in Grand Island is making it convenient to assist firefighters battling wildfires in the Niobrara River region of north-central Nebraska.
Through July 31, customers can ask Super Saver cashiers to round up their total bill, with the extra amount going to the American Red Cross Central Plains Chapter. Larger contributions will also be accepted. Donations will be used to provide meals and other assistance to firefighters.
Lincoln, Neb.-based B&R Stores Inc. was founded in 1964 by Russ Raybould and has since grown to include four store concepts (Russ’s Market, Super Saver, Save Best Foods and Grand Central Apple Market) located in seven cities across Nebraska and Iowa.
