SuperFresh Opens Unit in Baltimore
MONTVALE, N.J. -- The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. here is opening an 11,000-square-foot store SuperFresh store today in downtown Baltimore. According to A&P, the state-of-the-art location showcases "an enticing selection of fresh foods and groceries tailored to the area's customers."
In keeping with A&P's recently implemented fresh format, the downtown Baltimore store's features include fresh artisan breads, a pizza oven, a service bakery, gourmet cheeses, a fresh-cut meat department, and a broad assortment of seafood and freshly prepared chowders.
SuperFresh operates 75 stores in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, and the Washington, D.C. area. A&P operates 405 stores in the United States.
