Thermos Launches “Hydration for All” Campaign
You know about Thermos products for toting everything from cold beverages to hot soup, but now the company is going beyond hydration products, taking its commitment to consumer wellness one step further by launching an interactive global hydration education campaign. To better educate consumers on hydration issues and the Thermos products available, Thermos created a consumer Web site, HydrationForAll.com. The site provides tips on staying well hydrated and living a healthier, more active lifestyle.
The site also details Thermos’ support of the global water cause and its role in helping the 1.1 billion people who lack access to clean water. In this effort, Thermos has collaborated with charity: water, a nonprofit organization dedicated to bringing clean, safe drinking water to people in developing nations around the world. Together, Thermos and charity: water are working to raise awareness of the issue, and Thermos is contributing company resources to aid new well production around the globe.
“Thermos has been a source for hydration solutions for years, and we are excited to expand our efforts on a global level with charity: water,” said Rick Dias, executive vice president of marketing and sales at Thermos.
Through 2009, Thermos will continue its collaboration with charity: water and add more resources to HydrationForAll.com. As part of its campaign, Thermos also has launched the Intāk™ by Thermos® line. Made from BPA-free Eastman Tritan™ plastic, the lightweight Intāk Hydration Bottle features a unique rotating intake meter to easily monitor daily liquid consumption, an easy-opening leakproof lid and a flip-up loop for great portability. The ergonomic design and vibrant color offerings make this product a stylish way to stay hydrated on the go. The line also includes BPA-free stainless steel models with TherMax® vacuum insulation that keeps drinks cold for hours. For more information on the campaign, visit www.hydrationforall.com.
