Tyson Unveils Valentine’s Promo

Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc., the beef and pork subsidiary of Tyson Foods, Inc., will run a Valentine’s Day promotion for its Chairman’s Reserve Premium Meats brand from Jan.31 to Feb. 14.

Tyson’s Valentine’s Day promotion will include such in-store elements as a grocery list notepad with a coupon for $2 off a $10 Chairman’s Reserve Premium Meats purchase, as well as a poster, wobbler and floor graphic. Retailers participating in the promotion can also receive vouchers redeemable for $15 worth of Chairman’s Reserve Certified Premium Beef or Chairman’s Reserve Premium Pork, for use with their meat department staff. Voucher supplies are limited.

“The Valentine’s Day promotion is all about helping consumers plan a special Valentine’s Day meal to enjoy in the comfort of their own home,” said Kent Harrison, VP of marketing and premium programs for Tyson Fresh Meats, Inc. “Our hope is that retailers reap the sales benefits of promoting Chairman’s Reserve Premium Meats products for their customers’ Valentine’s Day dinners.”
