United Family Unveils MyRxClub Pharmacy Savings Program

The United Family said Thursday it has launched a new membership pharmacy savings program, available at all pharmacy locations throughout its operating area.

The Lubbock, Texas-based grocer's MyRxClub program enables customers to save money on brand name medications, generic prescriptions and flu shots, as well as a 30-day supply of select generic medication starting at $3.99, and a 90-day supply for $9.99.

“United has always demonstrated our commitment to the health and wellness of our guests, and the MyRxClub program extends this effort to the pharmacy,” said Tim Purser, director of pharmacy for The United Family. “Plus, MyRxClub offers guests the opportunity to receive significant savings on the medications they already use.”

United's MyRxClub has an annual fee of $11.99, yet each A Rewards member receives a $10 annual rewards account credit. There is no limit on the number of prescriptions filled per account, the grocer said.

To sign up for the program, shoppers can login to their rewards account and click on the MyRxClub logo or visit a pharmacy counter in-store.

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Albertsons' LLC, The United Family operates 61 retail grocery stores and 29 fuel & convenience locations under the United Supermarkets, Market Street, Amigos, Albertsons Market and United Express banners.
