Wal-Mart Recalls Sam's Choice Store Brand Trail Mix
BENTONVILLE, Ark. -- Wal-Mart yesterday initiated a voluntary nationwide food product recall of certain lots of its store brand trail mix, after receiving reports of finding glass in the product.
The product involved in the recall is Sam's Choice "Nature Trail" Trail Mix. The affected 28-ounce packages were manufactured Oct. 23, said Wal-Mart.
The product is supplied to Wal-Mart by Ann's House of Nuts. Wal-Mart said it is asking customers who purchased the trail mix items to return the product to the store.
