Weis Markets Expands Online Shopping in Pa.

Weis Markets has extended its Online Shopping click-and-collect service to five additional locations in Pennsylvania, including in Clarks Summit, Mountaintop, Dallas, Lititz and Bellefonte.

The Sunbury, Pa.-based grocer now offers the service in 34 stores throughout its operating area, enabling customers to order groceries online and pay through either PayPal or at the store with curbside checkout.

“Many of our customers have embraced Weis Online Shopping, which offers our customers the best of both worlds: the in-store shopping experience with online, time-saving convenience,” said Richard Gunn, VP of merchandising and sales.

Gunn added that customers can place their orders at any time and schedule a pick-up in as little as four hours. The service is free for orders of $150 or more. A $2.95 service fee is added for orders under $150, and the service fee is waived on first time orders.

The new locations featuring Weis Online Shopping include:

• Dallas: 495 Memorial Highway Rt. 415
• Clarks Summit: 1020 Northern Boulevard off Route 11 in South Abington Township
• Mountaintop: 237 South Mountaintop Boulevard
• Lititz: 740 South Broad Street
• Bellefonte: 170 Buckaroo Lane

Weis Markets operates 163 stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and West Virginia.
