Weis Names Rick Bhandari Director of Pharmacy Ops

Weis Markets has named Rick Bhandari its new director of pharmacy operations, in which he'll oversee the day-to-day management of the grocer's 134 in-store pharmacies.  

Bringing more than 20 years of experience to his role, Bhandari joins Weis from Bi-Lo Holdings, where he served as regional pharmacy manager. Prior to that he served with CVS and Rite Aid in various management positions. Bhandari will report to Rick Seipp, Weis' VP of pharmacy.

Sunbury, Pa.-based Weis Markets operates 163 stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and West Virginia.
