Winn-Dixie Streamlines Supply Chain with Manhattan Associates
Winn-Dixie, has selected solutions from Atlanta-based Manhattan Associates’ Distribution Management and Transportation Lifecycle Management product suites to drive supply chain operations and get its products to shelves faster and more efficiently.
“We looked to Manhattan Associates Supply Chain solutions to help us drive our key initiative of providing the freshest dairy, meat and produce from local providers to our customers,” said Chris Scott, senior vice president, supply chain and logistics of Jacksonville, Fla.-based Winn-Dixie. “Our goal is to bring the farm closer to the fork by connecting every link in our supply chain operation.”
Winn-Dixie purchased Manhattan’s Warehouse Management, Slotting Optimization and Labor Management solutions from the Distribution Management suite of the Manhattan SCOPE portfolio, along with Yard Management and Fleet Management solutions from the Transportation Lifecycle Management product suite. In addition, the American grocer is using Supply Chain Intelligence, Total Cost to Serve, and the Extended Enterprise Management product suite.
