WMU Annual Food Marketing Conference 2015 Speakers Announced
Brian Cornell, chairman and CEO of Target Corp.; Dennis Eidson, president and CEO of SpartanNash; Leslie Sarasin, president and CEO of Food Marketing Institute (FMI); and Al Carey, CEO of PepsiCo Americas Beverages, are among the featured speakers at Western Michigan University’s annual Food Marketing Conference, to be held March 16-17, 2015, at the Radisson Plaza Hotel, Kalamazoo, Mich.
“We are extremely enthusiastic about the quality of our speaker program for this year’s conference. It is truly fitting for our 50th annual Food Marketing Conference,” says Frank Gambino, professor of marketing and director, Food/CPG Marketing at Western Michigan University. “Our goal is to raise more than $250,000 to fund scholarships and other experiential learning opportunities for students."
The WMU Annual Food Marketing Conference brings leading retail and CPG speakers to share the latest developments in the food and CPG industries. More than 600 industry executives will attend what is projected to be a sold-out event. In addition to providing attendees with effective leadership strategies, tips for building strong company cultures, and provoking presentations from retail and organizational visionaries, the event supports scholarships and unique educational experiences for students enrolled in WMU’s acclaimed Food Marketing program.
