SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- Price Chopper here has entered into an agreement with Farmington, Conn.-based ProHealth Physicians, the state's largest primary care physician practice, to provide greater access to professional health services by offering in-store clinics located right next to the Price Chopper pharmacy. The MedAccess units will provide on-site health care visits for as little as $45 a visit.

ST. LOUIS -- Schnuck Markets Inc. here has begun construction on health-care clinics in four metro area stores, with partner instaClinic. The clinics are set to open this fall.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Meijer, Inc. here said it will open health clinics in nine of its Indiana stores. The walk-in clinics will provide routine medical services, such as treatments for minor injuries and maladies, and will offer preventive services, including vaccines and health screenings.

BRAMPTON, Ont. -- More than 19,000 people who had to get hepatitis A vaccines after being exposed to produce tainted by an infected employee at a Loblaws store four years ago can file restitution claims beginning this week, according to reports in the Toronto Star.

CAMP HILL, Pa. -- Furthering its focus on health and wellness, drug store retailer Rite Aid Corp. here said yesterday it has signed an agreement with Take Care Health Systems, LLC to open health centers staffed by certified nurse practitioners in 10 Rite Aid stores in the Portland, Ore. market by Nov. 1.
