KANSAS CITY -- The $4 generic drug movement picked up more steam this week when Price Chopper, this market's most pervasive grocery banner, declared it would offer more than 300 generic prescriptions at $4 each at 29 store pharmacies in the Kansas City area, plus two in Topeka and two in St. Joseph. -
SaveMart Launches 'Three-peat' of Free Antibiotic Program
MODESTO, Calif. - Regional independent Save Mart and S-Mart Foods' Pharmacies are joining the recent effort on the part of retailers to make healthcare more affordable by offering free Amoxicillin with a doctor's prescription for all patients during the months of October through March 2007--but while the effort is new for many retailers, it is not a new program for Save Mart.
