BENTONVILLE, Ark. - Just two weeks after rolling out a low-cost program on certain generic drugs in its Florida stores, Wal-Mart, Inc. here is expanding the program to 14 more states based on customer demand.

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. -- This flu season Price Chopper here is joining with Columbia, Md.-based Maxim Health Systems to offer flu and pneumonia shots at the retailer's pharmacies. Flu shots will cost $25 each, while pneumonia shots will be go for $40. Mindful of last year's flu vaccine shortages, the Mid-Atlantic regional grocer advises that there's "plenty of flu vaccine available this year."
