COPPELL, Texas -- Minyard Food Stores, Inc. is putting its 80-acre, 800,000-square-foot campus here on the block following a deal to outsource its warehouse and distribution operations to Kansas City, Kan.-based Associated Wholesale Grocers earlier this month.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Southern Family Markets LLC, an affiliate of Keene, N.H.-based C&S Wholesale Grocers, said earlier it plans to exit the Birmingham, Ala market by mid-January as part of a plan to strengthen its core business.
