In Latest Shuffle, All Wal-Mart Operating Divisions to Report Directly to CEO Scott
BENTONVILLE, Ark. -- In the latest executive change at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. here, the company said Friday that vice chairman John Menzer will assume the responsibilities of chief administrative officer, solidifying his leadership of corporate strategic planning and many company-wide support functions. Additionally, Eduardo Castro-Wright, president and c.e.o. of Wal-Mart Stores - U.S.A., who had previously reported to Menzer, will now report directly to Lee Scott, president and c.e.o. The moves put all three of the company's operating divisions -- Wal-Mart, Sam's Club, and International -- directly under Scott.
