    QUINCY, Mass. -- Maine's first Stop & Shop opens today in the town of Kennebunk. The 60,000-square-foot store will be manned by 200 employees hailing not only from Kennebunk, but also from the surrounding towns of Kennebunkport, Wells, Arundel, Sanford, and Biddeford, said the chain.

The supplier will begin adjusting what and how it markets to children under age 12, and will introduce new front-of-pack nutrition labeling to the North American market that's already been well received in Europe and Australia.
