The company's Marketplace stores usually carry grocery and pharmacy items along with hard goods such as outdoor living products, electronics, home products, and toys.

WALKER, Mich. - Meijer Inc. said on Saturday it has eliminated about 1,900 management positions in the latest step of its reorganization effort, according to published reports.
